"Bubbles"

Bubbles was the grand dam of Silvershadow, Bill's beloved saluki girl.  She was also a top produced, having seven champions between her two litters.  Her first litter, by Ch Clarinda Sunna Tamman, was an all champion litter.  Her second litter, by Ch Elessar's Zeus Odi et Amo, contained three group winners.

Bubbles herself finished her championship quickly but her true love was coursing.  Bubbles had 78 points toward her ASFA field championship when another dog opened the latch on the yard Bubbles was in. Three dogs left the yard and Bubbles was hit by a car at the age of 2.  The initial diagnois suggested amputating her left hind leg, but a decsion was made to try surgery.  Several surgeries later, Bubbles regained use of her hind leg, but was not sound enough to resume coursing or showing.

Bubbles passed away at 15 and left a large hole at Silvershadow. She was a very special saluki and is deeply missed.
